Celiac Disease limits what you can eat, but it doesn’t limit your imagination. In my novels my characters are treated to sumptuous food, whipped up by the most villainous of villains, or devious of mothers. As a thriller writer with food allergies, I derive vicarious enjoyment, salivating along with my victims.

A writer of mysteries and thrillers always wants a killer opening line for their novel. A good one can charm your reader, make them pay attention, and let their eyes flit to the next line. But a great one can conjure up an irresistible fantasy: They must find out what happens.
